Initial Consultation
It is where our landscape designers will meet up with you to discuss your vision of the project, budget, and other essential aspects. This first meeting typically takes place on-site so our designers can see the space firsthand, ask about how you actually plan to use the yard, and give you an honest, upfront sense of what your goals will cost before any design work begins.
Site Inspection and Analysis
After our discussion, our landscape architects and designers will visit the site to assess it and create the landscape plans accordingly — checking grading and drainage patterns, sun and shade exposure, soil conditions, protected trees under Toronto’s Private Tree Protection By-law, and access limitations that will affect construction.
Designing
We will help you visualize the entire layout with the help of 3D designs. Every element — hardscaping, planting, structures, lighting — is drawn to scale so you can see exactly how the finished space will look and function before committing to a final plan.
Follow-up
This is where they will sit down with you to discuss any modifications to the landscape plan they’ve created, carefully note all your specifications, and make the necessary alterations. We’d rather revise the 3D design twice than have you discover a change you wanted after construction has started.
Finalization
We’ll formalize our collaboration by signing a contract once we’ve finalized the design, pricing, and other essential details. From there, the same team that designed your project moves into construction — so nothing gets lost in translation between design and build.
